Cravings tend to point to a deficiency in your body. Craving ice? Your iron is probably low, so do your best to add good sources of iron to your diet (dark, leafy greens, lean red meats). Some pregnant women tend to have low iron during their second trimester, when baby starts to tap into Mom’s iron reserves. Stay on top of this by eating iron-rich foods, or consider supplements such as Floradix. Talk to your provider before starting any supplements!
