• Blissful Beginnings Doula

Well, hello there friends!  It’s been awhile!  I am thrilled to announce that I will once again be accepting clients for the remainder of 2018!

The past few years have been busy for me, and I have appreciated the space to work on my personal life.  In fact, we added another member to our family!  T. was born at home on October 7, 2016.  He was my first baby to birth at home, and was 13 days past his due date (just like his big sister!).  Two days after he was born we noticed something wasn’t right with his breathing.  Long story short, he was diagnosed with a VSD- a heart defect.  He is nearly 19 months old now, and his heart seems to be healing itself, praise God! Now that we seem to have life steady again, between home educating the older children and incorporating a fifth child into our routine, I have been feeling the call to once again support women.  I debated pursuing postpartum care, and still may in the future.  As of now, I would like to get back into birth doula care for Mamas in The Woodlands or Conroe!  I am so thrilled at the idea of it all!

In my absence from professional doula care, I’ve realized that supporting women in pregnancy and birth is still one of the most important things for me.  I’ve used my rebozo on several friends during their pregnancies, listened to several friends go through miscarriage, prenatal, and postpartum depression, and am still the go-to for a handful of friends when it comes to hormone advice!  Not to mention, had a unique and fifth birth experience of my own!

For now, I will only be accepting home or birth center births, but would certainly consider a hospital birth for repeat clients.  Please get in touch with me if you have any questions.  I hope you’ll consider helping me get back into the swing of things!  God bless you!

Taking a Break from my Doula Work

As we venture into 2015, I feel I am ready to begin a new journey down a new path- a path that consists of more family time and a less-hectic schedule.  As of now, I will not be accepting new clients,
